As the UniBond League Premier Division season enters its final week, the formula for Guiseley is simple – they need two wins.
Guiseley go into tonight's final home game, against North Ferriby United, in sixth spot, one place outside the play-off zone.

Fifth-placed Kendal have only one fixture left and are just a point ahead, so a win tonight and another at lowly Witton Albion on Saturday will see Guiseley through.

A 2-1 home defeat by Hednesford on March 28 seemed to have ended Guiseley's chances, but they have won all four matches since then, scoring 14 goals and conceding only one in the process.

Guiseley could finish as high as third if other results go their way, but manager Steve Kittrick's not looking beyond the next two games.

"If we can win them both, we are going to be in it, " said Kittrick. "That's what's on the agenda.

"We'll just be glad to be in the play-offs, then we'll take whatever we get.

"Everybody's relaxed, we are scoring goals, but we have got two difficult games left. North Ferriby are going to want to come and spoil the fun.

"Witton play Whitby tomorrow night and if they lose that, my worst scenario might happen – we might need to go there and win to get into the play-offs and they might need to win to stay up.

"It is in our hands and we can still do it if we get a point tonight, but it's going to be hard.

"It looks like we have hit some good form and we have just got to keep it rolling."

Adding striker James Walshaw to the squad has been Guiseley's missing link, Kittrick believes.

"We've no injuries and we've fetched James in, " he said. "We've started playing a system we've wanted to play for a while, it's freed Adam Muller up to do what he does best and James Hanson is scoring goals as well."

Keeper Piotr Skiba is available for tonight after a two-match ban, though Kittrick is considering continuing with Aaron Ratchford after he impressed in Saturday's 4-0 win over Marine.
