Guiseley copped UniBond Premier play-off despair after crashing 2-1 at Nantwich Town after extra-time.
Predatory striker Dave Walker broke Guiseley hearts in the 113th minute by firing home the winner to settle a hard-fought and tense encounter, which remained locked at 1-1 after 90 minutes.

A thrilling surge at the end of the regular season had booked a place in the play-offs for Guiseley, who beat Nantwich on their own patch during a sizzling six-game winning streak in the league.

But the Dabbers got their revenge at the Weavers Stadium to book a final date with Ilkeston – who beat Kendal 4-3 in a thriller – on Saturday.

The chief home threat came in the form of red-hot striking pair Michael Lennon and Walker, who had plundered 60 goals between them ahead of the game.

And it was leading scorer Lennon who put the Dabbers in front when he slotted home in first-half stoppage time.

Guiseley spurned several chances before drawing level twenty minutes from time when Adam Muller – hero in the Challenge Cup final win over Ilkeston – coolly slotted the ball home after being sent clear.

No more goals arrived in normal time, with the decisive moment arriving seven minutes from the end of extra time when Walker netted his 29th goal of the campaign.
