Guiseley Rangers chairman David Clayton said in his opening remarks at the club's open age presentation night that two more league points would have guaranteed automatic promotion.
But the club are still hopeful that this may still happen with the inclusion of new teams for the 2009/10 season.

Hayley Gaster's top tackler award went to Omar Sidahamed.
Special mention was given to club first aider Tracey Clayton.
Club coaches Craig McLaughlin and Darren Clayton both played a huge part in the team's successful season which was a combination of youth and experience.
The rugby club thanked the hostess Nicky Fairweather for her provision of after match refreshments.
