Steve Kittrick's troops leapfrogged the hosts into third, thanks to goals from Lee Tuck (5) and Steve Burton (74).
Guiseley are just four points behind leaders Ashton, with three games in hand.
Wednesday, October 1410.52am - There was penalty despair for Guiseley who crashed out of the FA Cup in a heartbreaking third qualifying round reversal.
Guiseley lost out 1-0 at Kendal, with Carl Osman heading the winner on 78 minutes.
But Steve Kittrick's troops, who dominated with Steve Burton and James Walshaw hitting the woodwork, spurned a glorious chance to level from the spot with two minutes left.
But Anthony Lloyd saw his effort saved by David Newnes, who also made a string of splendid stops as Kendal booked a trip to Nuneaton.
